Company History:
Our History: The beginnings of BI Worldwide date back to the 1930's when Frank L. Hammette, Sr. began selling specialty advertising products in the Greater Chicago area. Frank Sr. was joined by his son Ray L. Hammette after WWII. In 1957 they moved to Florida and operated as Business Promotions, with sales from Chicago to Miami. In 1973, Ray's son, Frank L. Hammette joined the family business and began sales efforts in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 1987, after illness struck Ray Hammette, Frank Hammette incorporated the companies of Business Innovations and Lion Marketing. In 1996, the companies were merged into the partnership of Frank Hammette and Alf Rhea known as Business Innovations Worldwide, LLC. Since that time, Frank has become semi-retired and Alf assumed total ownership of the company.
In addition to specialty advertising products, the company provides in-house art development, custom/direct importing, wholesale giftware and internet fulfillment services. With over $5 million in annual sales, the company has 10 employees and 10 sales representatives serving corporate customers, employee stores and museum gift stores across the United States as well as Europe and Canada.
